Frequently Asked Questions

Where do the recipes come from?
Ideally the recipes for your customised cookbook are collected with our assistance from members of your organisation, charity, school, family, friends and the broader community. We assist with all steps in this process, including copy write issues.

How long does this process take?
Depending on the size of your book and whether it is printed in Australia or overseas, we can produce your book in 20 weeks.

How are your costs structured?
Our costs are structured so that you can be cost positive throughout the process. We also give advice on how to cover all or part of your costs through advertising. A cookbook has an extremely long shelf life so advertisers get great value for their dollar.

Do we have to order a certain number of books?
There is no minimum quantity however in order to make a good profit you usually need upwards of 1000 books to give you the best return.

Can I order any size book or page number?
Our books are all custom designed consequently your cookbook can be any size, dimension and page number that you wish. You are able to choose soft or hard cover and the type of paper as well as the quantity of pages.

Do you use original rather than stock food images?
We have our own team of a food photographer, food stylist, home economist along with a commercial kitchen/studio. All food images are original and cooked from your recipe and styled to your brief. We specialise in tailoring props and the style of the image to your needs.

Are you able to take additional images for us to use in the book?
Our in-house photographer and stylist can come to your organisation to take additional photographs.

Does our cookbook include our own individual front cover and layout?
Our in-house graphic designer and stylist will meet you and work with you to customise your book. You will have your own unique layout to all pages including a unique front and back cover. We provide all graphic design work and photography needed to give you the look that you want. You can have as much or as little input into the design process as you desire.
